Cancel attack skills ?
Do you know a reliable way to cancel attack skills ?
It doesn't seem I can cancel an attack skill once it start to cast : neither with cancel action nor weapon switch nor stepping. |

1: If you already Qued an attack skill (meaning you pressed it but not yet executed ) you can cancel by pressing the cancel action buttun :Escape button
2: If your executing the attack skill you can cancel it by weaponswapping manually to an other weapon. The only way to do this is by having your equipment inventory open and doubleclicking on the other weapon. Situation 2 means playing with your inventory screen open and lowers your situational awareness because you have less field you can see and also having to stay ready to use your doubleclick with mouse ,but this way your able to counter diversion if its a real threat. |

Only do it if you're afraid of getting dshot/diversioned. Otherwise it's basically a waste of time, awareness and energy.

2: ok thank you, what i was testing was : switching weapon set + cancel action whereas it has to do with switching weapons from inventory manually... Tested (not extensively) what you suggested so... it works well for normal attack skills but not for 1/2 casting time attack skills. But sadly it is not really handy for reflex cancelling |

I agree with this. I've only ever really needed to advert my attention to cancel-casting spells when playing Guild Wars than to try and cancel attack skills.

You can do it with an interrupt skill, only you have to actually swap the weapon slightly before you activate the skill. But it's pretty damn irrelevant since it isn't ever going to be anywhere near useful. |

Once you are in melee range, try to cancel jagged strike without starting to cancel it before you press your jagged strike button.

For queued skills, strafing left or right, or backing up, will cancel them.

I've managed to cancel savage and dshot by swapping, the swap has to occur earlier as opposed to skills like crippling shot. It can be challenging to get the hang of the timing but it is doable.
